all pizza tastes the same

the folks who complain that new yawk pizza is the ONLY pizza that MATTERS are FULL OF IT. all pizza is basically the same, that's why it's pizza and not lambchop. lampchop will taste much better or much different depeneding on who cooks it but not so for Pizza! Pizza is commoners food so it will taste the same basically no matter who makes it or where it goes. so little Ceaswars is just as good as an authtentic Italian new York pizza is and its only snobs who will say differently

most pizzerarias in new york use premade frozen crusts and canned sauces to make their pizza. its sad but very true. you pay for the illusion of AUTHENTICITY.

You think all pizza tastes the same? Yeah, ok. Enjoy your Domino Pizza and box of red table wine. Fucking retard.

Skippolino's, one of New York's most highly rated and most authentic pizzerias, buys their ingredients from the same wholesaler that Domino's buys from. You pay for the snobbiness.

A lot of it is the oven. The best pizza imo is in a wood/brick fire oven where it is extremely hot, cooks quick and eaten right away. Toppings/thin or thick crust/how much sauce is all just personal taste.

I don't care if the ingredients come from SYSCO or any other wholesaler. Pizza definetly varies greatly in taste... the ingredients added to the dough, the water, how well the dough is aerated or tossed, what is added to the tomato sauce, quality of the toppings, blend of cheese....

You can say all burgers taste the same because they all come from a cow.

Try Ciro's Pizza in Centreville and you'll see that some pizza is better.

I'd like to see y'all take the pepsi challenge with a Dominos pizza and a classy, snooty New York pizza and see if you can tell which is which. I'll bring the blindfolds, y'all!

I agree with you. I may have not explained my position well, the point I was trying to make is you need a high quality oven that most people do not have nor is practical in their home.

Easy test. It's all in the crust, baby! The NY pizza place (if it's a repsectable place) will have an airy, crispy dough that has both a sweet and salty taste. The Dominoes cris will be much chewier, drier and breadier flavor.

Right, so you're telling me that eating a Red Baron pizza is the same as eating one from Ray's. Or that eating one from Romantica is the same as eating one from Pizza Hut. Try again.

That's like saying my stick figures are no different than Michelangelo's frescoes.

Pizza is an art form, and I'm not talking about fru-fru fancy pansy pizza with pineapple; I'm talkin' about a slice, regular.

I can not stand soggy, floppy, doughy crusts. I just put the thing down, and say, shit.
