I like "22 March 2010" for correspondence and "20100322" for computer file names. What say you?

I prefer 22MAR10

3/22/10 for checks, forms, etc.

March 22, 2010 for letters/correspondences

3-22-10 for computer files.

Long-form, I would write it as: Monday, March 22nd, 2010. Short-form, I typically would express it as: 22MAR10.

You're a European, then. That's how Europeans do it--day first, month second. 3/22/10 is the American way.

Same, except I use 03/22/2010 for computers in the US, 22/03/2010 for Europe. Most European countries use day/month/year format. When you put the month first in numbers it totally screws with their heads.
