The police won't probably won't investigate or do anything, however people that feel like they have been victimized should at least file a report so that there is documentation of what's going on.

Better yet, a multiagency JOINT TASKFORCE, with investigators from army CIB, Fairfax County Police, Virginia State Police, Richmond City Police, FBI, and the Fairfax City guy can run around getting coffee and donuts for everyone else.
