McCain VP front runners

1) Mike Huckabee - Governor of Arkansas. Some may think this is an odd first, but I very much like and respect Governor Huckabee. He has a lot of integrity, experience, and balls.

2) John Kasich - Former Congressman of Ohio. Kasich would be a very interesting and unexpected choice, but he brings many strengths to McCain’s ticket. He was known as a budget hawk back while he was in office and would probably get along well with McCain.

3) Sarah Palin - Governor of Alaska. McCain definitely doesn’t need help with that state, but she would help with women voters at a time where women might be disgruntled once Clinton leaves center stage.

4) Mark Sanford - Governor of South Carolina. He is pretty well known in political circles and is a staunch conservative, which will help McCain reassure the base, and is well known for his concern against pork barrel spending; thus giving the Senator and Sanford something in common.

5) Charlie Crist - Governor of Florida. Crist is an obvious possibility because he can deliver Florida. Although polling looks decent right now for McCain in Florida, Obama is likely to get a surge once Clinton voters start going his way and there is NO WAY McCain will win this election without Florida.

But he doesnt "believe" in evolution, or gravity for that matter.

Back in 2006 he said "Republicans have gotten the sense that they’re going to get elected by passing out money to people". Who does he think he is???? Slamming republicans is so unpatriotic. .

Here's why it will likely be Palin:

Q&A

1. Which McCain Veep pick is SIMULTANEOUSLY the safest AND boldest?

ANSWER: Sarah Palin

2. How can McCain SIMULTANEOUSLY attract both Hillary AND Bob Barr voters?

ANSWER: Sarah Palin

* * *

And there's this from the Conservative Voice:

“Desperately seeking Sarah

Desperately seeking Sarah
Americans need a little Palin Power

Sarah Palin the current Governor of Alaska is John McCain’s ultimate choice for VP. I do believe a woman is next in line for the presidency. All Conservatives like her. She is popular in Alaska. Hillary supporters would relish her. She would solidify a 12 or possibly 16 year Republican executive.

John McCain’s boring campaign is wearing thin. I need a little Palin Power to get me interested again. They would say ‘but she is only a half term Governor!’ And your point is?"

>> Mike Huckabee

Told reporters that the theory of intelligent design should be taught in schools. ... Thinks there should be a law that tells illegal immigrants to voluntarily leave the country, or face arrest. What's next?? A law that tells bank robbers to not commit crimes, or else face arrest for robbing banks??

>>> John Kasich

A Bill O' Reilly wannabe who turns into Morton Downey Jr. when you offend his christian morality.... see for yourself...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzG7l5P9wO8

>>> Sarah Palin

Recently proposed a bill to increase oil & gas corporate taxes by 400%. Not 4, not 40, 4-fucking-hundred! A true product of Alaska's kleptocracy.

>>> Mark Sanford

Firmly belives that intelligent design should be taught in public schools. Check out this gem:

“The idea of there being a, you know, a little mud hole and two mosquitoes get together and the next thing you know you have a human being is completely at odds with, you know, one of the laws of thermodynamics, which is the law of, in essence, destruction.” - Mark Sanford

He actually said that live on TV, while he was in office.

>>> Charlie Crist

Closet tree-hugger that immediately flip-flops on off-shore drilling as soon as his name gets national attention.

Sarah Palin - Kill Polar Bears for Oil.

There is really nothing Presidential about this gal. Republicans just seem to be happy if a woman is a Republican and has a pulse. I think if McCain is really serious about a female VP, he needs to look at Condi Rice or Kay Bailey Hutchison.

Are you serious? If he picked Rice, he may as well forfeit now.

Sara Palin is tied up now in a mini scandal involving her sister's divorce and an inappropriate firing of a state employee.

It would also be a bone headed move for McCain; Republicans couldn't lose Alaska's electoral vote if they tried, and Ted Stevens is in the news in a bad way focusing the public on Alaska and its long corrupt political acumen.

Or Carly Fiorina. She had been a leader and manager, and not in politics. Two pluses.

HP stock went down 65% under her leadership. She bluntly went after a company, and merged with that company after pretty much everyone told her not to. That company pretty much became the boat anchor on the ocean bed tethered to the entire HP.

While at HP, she bullied HP family off the board, and recently she has flip flopped so many times on health insurance/birth control issues we have no idea where she is. She received $42 million from HP on exit, and sued for more.

If we want a leader for VP, Carly is a dangerous one.

Also, she avoided paying US taxes by "parking money" overseas. She has said that taxes in the US are pretty much voluntary. Perfect for the Republican party.

I don't think John McCain wants the press to look under that rock.
