School shooting outside of Bakersfield.

Bakersfield, in Kern county, has the world's largest truck stop, has some of the most polluted air in the world, and is the eighth most "politically conservative" city in the country. Other claims to fame for Bakersfield and the surrounding Kern county are, they are home to Arnold's ex-housekeeper/mistress and their love child, and Bakersfield was the proud home and business center of the late Buck Owens.

Taft High School in Kern county had a school shooting this morning. Two people shot. Thank god, no one was killed, and the gunman is in custody.

Just to be clear here, Bakersfield having the world's largest truck stop, and Bakersfield having some of the most polluted air in the country are coincidental. There are no proven relationships or cause and effect distinction between those two facts.
