I would like to find something nice to say about this Meade Skelton effort but there just are not any redeeming qualities in this music. The song writing is childish and cold. If you are looking for warmth, you will find none here. The piano is out of tune and often off key. Meade's singing voice is an irritating warble. I would recommend this album to people that would like to make their friends laugh...

Meade Skelton's first full length album "Meade Music", is his best work to date. He has found his own niche and style, as the piano driven country vocalist with a coffee shop kick. The album kicks off with the infectious "Sweet Tea"- an ode to his favorite beverage. "Fat No More" is a fun Western swing number full of heartfelt humor. "The Last Time" is beautifully written- with a gorgeous arrangement between vocal harmonies, fiddle, and keyboards. This a good entertaining album. Lots of variety. You can tell he worked hard on the album and it shows. His voice and piano playing have improved tremendously since previous releases, and his songwriting is solid. Its a fun listen from start to finish.

Why don't you all leave him alone? What did he ever do to you? He's a performance artist, anyway. Meade Skelton is a character, like Ali G or Borat. Can't you all see this?

eesh was losing his grip towards the end of '12....he openly admitted to stalking Meade AND his sister on multiple occasions. Anyway, eesh is officially gone from the forum...someone on the inside got to him. Both Al Capone and Lucky Luciano have been neutered in the last two days.

As for my "why do we still care?" comment... again nice. Meade's attempt at self-promotion has backlashed. Yes, more people know who he is, but no one takes his music seriously. His posts (or our Meade impersonator... whomever it is) are stale. He hasn't offered anything new to this site in years. The best thing for all parties is to just stop caring. Don't give him any attention. It is like giving him a gun that he uses to shoot himself in the foot. It was fun for a few years, but now it is just sad. If I could have predicted how this would have turned out, my own posts would have been quite different.
