You're right. Average people don't deserve or need protection. Only people with a public profile should be allowed to have any kind of protection.

Just like normal prisoners go into general population, but police officers and public officials who are convicted of crimes get protective custody and special wings of prisons.

We need to make a law where you can only own a gun or hire someone to carry one for you if your personal net worth is above a certain amount. We need to get this caste system moving, it will provide one more motivation for all the welfare recipients to work hard and succeed!
