This is this first step to freeing up space for the national syndication shows to come on board. It is hard to believe the Junkies and LaVar are seen to be "safe" because they are getting ratings, but we'll just have to see. This space (10-2) will be a national show in a couple months.

The Junkies payroll might be what eventually gets them removed from the station. While they are bringing in ratings, which means advertising dollars, this can't continue at the current rate. When CBS has a cheapre alternative to their salaries at hand with a National show, their days could be numbered. Then, who will pay that group the kind of money they want? Don't look for them on Sirrius or any other local station.

How many people do the Junies employ now? EB, Cakes, JP, Lurch, Drab, Valdeez...that it? That's a lot of money tied up in S&B which could be replaced by a syndicated show. They are never going to get number 1, so they really just need to beat Mike and Mike.

Hated everything about that repugnant bald headed mutt with his fantasy tales of being a 'ladies man' to his phony limousine liberal opinions. His delivery was terrible, like he was half stuttering all the time. Just a horrible program. Don't listen to radio at that hour of the day but still no way should that bum have been drawing a paycheck with his lack of talent, lack of talent is a jfk staple however so he was in good company.

EB didn't want to be traumatized by bringing the shooting up, what a sorry, soft and pasty excuse for a human being he is. It's a sports show but still omitting a major current event story like that is shameful.

I wish WTL was here to shit on the whole JFK line up right now. With that said, Wise was an OK guy and had an adequate knowledge of sports (at least compared to guys like Dues) to be on the radio but the one thing that I always found annoying was his since of "white guilt" that he had.

I listened to this show once and it was awful. Just another one of those holier than thou sports writers.
I wonder how much he hates that Holden guy though. Wasn't he the co-host and now he is taking over the time slot?
The whole station sucks, even without him. Just flip the station to play old O&A and Stern shows.

Honestly he seemed bad but no worse than the rest of the insipid 'sports' talk (i.e. 24/7 Redskins blather). I would be glad to see him go if it were not for the fact that they will just fill the time with hours of boring RGIII talk. The station was built on the premise that 1) they were not the other sports station, 2) they were not owned by Dan Snyder, 3) they would speak the truth!
All this ever amounted to was to hear them talk about how the Redskins suck, 365 days a year. Suddenly, the Redskins are looking at the playoffs, a lot harder to say someone sucks when they are playnig better. Now they can talk about how great the Redskins are. When they lose and do not get into the playoffs, business as usual.

Look look look just because you play a sport don' mean you are an atholete it means you play a sport and playing a posrt at any level means you play sports but not that you are an aflete like I am and I was an athlete all my life and that is why I talk about what that is like because some people they they they they they they just play a sport know what I am saying not being an athelte like me since I am an athlete and I still consider myself you know an athelete and someone who knows what it is to BE an athlete which is not like some people like people who do other sports or things like sports but are not really sports so they are not really athletes like the golf people play a sport but they I don't know they are you know ummmm they are like sports people but thare not like athletes like me you know what I'm saying?

So with Wise out Danny and Holden are supposed to be doing that old time slot. The Flunkies are on vacation right now so Kevinand Rock (which blows goats) is in their slot and Feinstein is on....somewhere in there. What a mess. I say Danny and Holden don't last much past the New Year. Kevn and Rockhead go away soon (please) and national programming takes over the station.

I heard all I needed to from Wise after he staked his career that Danny Wuerful would be the future of the Redskins.

I heard all I needed to from Wise after he staked his career that Danny Wuerful would be the future of the Redskins.
We can only hope his progeny doesn't turn out to be as much of a useless idiot.

Thank god!! Wise needed to be let go. He brought absolutely nothing to the table as far as analysis goes. At least the Junks, Dukes and Lavar can actually speak about sports with some degree of intelligence and knowledge. Wise's show was bascially 2 hours of him rehashing lame stories from when he worked for the NYTs and making ridiculous claims just to increase ratings and calls (his 12-4 prediction during Shanahan's 1st year comes to mind). I say good riddance.

Think it's a total bummer. Don't like the two new bozo's at all. Really appreciated the care and emotion Wise was able to convey across the radio. WJFK made a mistake dropping the show. His show is was during the middle of the work day. Hard time slot to "grow" in. Truly, allowed liked his show as much as Lavar & Dukes...say 49 to 51. Jason

Wise is a little bitch. He's funny 10% of the time and otherwise he's a sappy wanker. He was the biggest Jason Campbell fan on the planet. Even Campbell knew he sucked, but Wise wanted him to be the long-term starter. Eff him.

Thank God for XM which has channels where I dont have to listen to any humans babbling about nothing. All sports, news, and DJ's just suck.

oh good, may they can put more idiots on the air to talk about the rg3 24/7. at least wise was intelligent, had something to say about things other than sports. wise might not have been that good, but i'm certain something dumber and baser will take his place. maybe jim rome. i suppose the sports reporters and mr tony are next.
