Multiple DUIs - moral turpitude?

I was thinking about applying for US citizenship and I was wondering if my multiple DUI history will affect the application. Someone mentioned "moral turpitude" to me, I wonder, is this serious?

Moral turpitude means lying cheating or stealing in other words a politician.
