Best free email to register: Yahoo! or Hotmail?

Since I communicate with family members and friends who majority of them live outside of the US, which email service is best? I have yahoo for 7yrs and like it. Now most of my people I talk to have hotmail. Do u think if I get one, you think the email would go faster instead of wait or getting lost?

Seconded. Since you use the same account for youtube, google drive, google +, gmail, google doc, etc, its worth making a gmail account.

It doesn't matter.

Just pick one, and save all of your emails in the unsent or compose folder, and your friends and family will be able to read your messages instantly.

As a bonus, your messages never get transmitted since you didn't hit "send", so nobody else can intercept them.
