If you were merely passionate about politics because of a desire to make America a better place and to further your philosophy with civility and tact, I'd have no problems at all. But it seems like most of the time, you aren't trying to promote a philosophy or persuade people with sound arguments, so much as you seek to engage in petty bickering over personalities and trivialities; and enjoy some partisan one-upsmanship when your despised opponents screw up (which, let's face it, is pretty often for both parties).

Extremist on any side are nuts. People like you can't even look at things from another perspective and that makes it scary. Its because of people like you why half the time we can't get anything done in this country.
