Bigger fall-Lance. Tiger still plays (albeit not well). Also, Lance denied it which to me seems more of a moral failing.

Lance definitely. Tiger doesn't need performance enhancers to play golf, and he doesn't come across pompous like Lance.

It seems to be the consensus that Lance is worse off now than Tiger is and I agree. His career is over, he had to resign from his charity, he's persona-non-grata, etc.
However, if we're talking who had the bigger fall from grace, I'd have to say it was Tiger. Tiger had that squeaky clean image and he seemed infallible. His scandal showed that he was human with flaws.
Lance Armstrong was always under suspicion for having doped. The whole sport of professional road cycling is full of dopers and doping. Practically every champion over the past 15 years has been caught doping and the majority of titles now have been revoked from the Tour de France champions. When Lance's titles were taken away it wasn't a "shocker".
When we first heard the news that Tiger's wife chased him down the street with a golf club over Thanksgiving -- that was a shocker. When the news broke that he didn't just have one mistress, but a harem of women that he kept in every city with a golf course, that just made jaws drop. When all of these women turned out to not be shrinking violets and they appeared on every news outlet across the country while the scandal was breaking -- everyone was shocked how Tiger could have kept things together as long as he did.
Tiger Woods is younger and plays a sport that he can probably continue playing into his 80s if he lives that long. Lance Armstrong's sporting days are over, he had already retired when his titles were removed. So Tiger is certainly in a better place now and has a better future ahead of him. Lance will just spend time lying down on that couch looking at those jerseys for the foreseeable future.

In all likelihood, if Tiger had taken PEDs, someone would have dug up the proof by now. But still, you can't completely count out the possibility.
