When your party loses an election because 70% of Hispanics vote against you, you should have an epiphany. It looks like some conservative commentators are beginning to sing a different tune on immigration policy...

No the problem is there has been little effort to explain conservatisim to immigrants.

The problem is writing a law that authorizes police to pull over drivers and question people who "appear to be an illegal". People have always joked that it is a crime to "drive while black", the Arizona law just codifies this shit.

The largest Hispanic group that voted against Romney in Florida were Puerto Ricans. When you preach to law enforcement that an ethnic group deserves more scrutiny than others, that ethnic group will get pissed off.
