No, I wouldn't be surprised. And I'm sure the Secret Service isn't surprised either. Personally, I'm equally concerned about the pissed off nuts with guns in the general community. I really think a lot df these people are mentally unstable and it wouldn't take much to push them over the edge.

Don't they realize that we'd then have crazy Uncle Joe running the country?

Knowing how a lot of ex-military and security types enjoy watching Fox News, I don't think it is too wild to suggest it could be a secret service agent who makes the first attempt.

If it is going to be anybody, my money is on the Oath Keepers. They actively recruit law enforcement and military with paranoia fueled dogma, and they make thinly veiled threats about violently overthrowing the Federal government.



They should be labeled a terrorist organization and anyone affiliated with them should be barred from a public trust position.

Yep. You're referring to one of the Rapture threads where I stated that I wouldn't be in the least bit disappointed if all the Christians rose up to Heaven, as written in the scriptures and left us rational people to our own devices. I stand by that. Whether or not that involves them dying first is irrelevant. That's what many Christians can't seem to wait for, which makes them no different from all the other nonsensical cults.
