She seems pretty extreme as Republicans go. Do you think she is controversial because she takes a stand for what America should be...or is she batshit crazy?

The fact the RNC and Democrats both view her as a threat makes me think she isn't in politics to play games. She's a solid conservative and I'd vote for her over Gerry Connelly any day of the week.

(4) BACHMANN CLAIMED TERRI SCHIAVO WAS ‘HEALTHY’: Not long after Terri Schiavo died, Bachmann said she would have voted for the Palm Sunday Compromise because Schiavo “was healthy. She had brain damage — there was brain damage, there was no question. But from a health point of view, she was not terminally ill.” An autopsy found that Schiavo had suffered irreversible brain damage and her brain, said the medical examiner, was “profoundly atrophied.”
(5) BACHMANN LIKENED VISITING IRAQ TO VISITING MALL OF AMERICA: In 2007, Bachmann returned from a junket to Iraq and told her colleagues, “[T]here’s a commonality with the Mall of America, in that it’s on that proportion. I dated a girl in College who was studying library science or something like that. Nerdy girls can be pretty hot when you get them alone and they take off their clothes, so Elizabeth Warren actually piques my interest. Michelle probably has all kinds of hangups about sex, especially if she walks her talk about contraception. Though she may like it in the ass, since butt babies are harder to conceive.
