I read an account posted here roughly 6 weeks ago by somebody claiming to be a female fan of Meade's recounting a one night stand she had with the country music star...but I am not sure I believe it.

Has Meade Skelton ever had a serious girlfriend? Maybe he is saving himself for marriage?

Here we are in Virginia- the birthplace of good 'ol Country music, and yet Richmond has little to nothing to offer in the way of venues for Country music. All I see is Rock or "Indie" Rock and Hippity Hop and lots of elctronica , but no Country to be found. I would like to see a good Alt-Country band featured in some Richmond music rag if that day ever comes, maybe hell would freeze over. But it seems to me, there are few if any venues for country/folk singer songwriters. We have Nancy Raygun and Twisters and Impanema, and such, which all cater to those Hipsters. I would like to see more musical diversity in Richmond. Something that isn't Rock or Hippity Hop.

He does play music at venues and if you think that coffee shops are no big deal, there are lots of people of exceptional talent that play small venues and there are people who make big bucks who have zip talent, but just catch a marketing ploy. Who are these people who keep posting Meade has talent and he is good looking? If you think so, run down to Richmond and de-virgin him for god's sake!

While many musicians with a lot of talent play small venues, Meade is not one of them. He plays where people will let him play for free and hopefully no one tells him to STFU.

I know many talented and struggling musicians play small venues, and most supplement their income giving music lessons to kids and adults. They "teach". Meade has no talent to teach and no parent would trust him with their children. He lives with his daddy at 35 years old. He can't hold any type of job. He can not communicate on any type of level above that of a 6 year old.

I am not a "hater" or jealous. I am just super currious who keeps writting all this nonsense about Meade being good looking and talented. If it is not his sister or other close relative, you are just slightly more sick in the head then he is.

I think you should go to any open mic night and view the talent. 95% of these people with have exponentially more talent then Meade.

I think we shouldn't judge people for living at home at any age. People who complain about those who live at home after a certain age may be ignorant, or just plain resentful. Really- no one cares if you left your home at 16, got married by 20, and look 45 by the time you're 30 with a stack of bills and a broken marriage. Not everyone is you. Every person is different. Leaving home is a new idea. In Jewish tradition, men stayed at home , worked and lived there with their wives, and helped their parents the rest of their days. Lets hope we can move past this stigma. I'm male. Straight. When I was 12, I wasn't really thinking about sex yet. I was still very innocent. Im not sure why all these guys are saying they would be happy with it. If Country music is so hated by everyone, why is it the only genre of music with steady record sales, in an industry that otherwise is failing? Garth Brooks sold more alums than the Beatles. While I dont care as much for mainstream commercial Country music, i find it preferable over a lot of other music. Country Music has little to do with "Southern" and much more to do with rural. But a lot of its love songs and stories can have universal appeal. Its always been that way. Truly, it did come from the Virginia and Tennessee hills, but people in Canada and Japan listen to Country music. Do you consider them Southerners? No, its just that Country music is an art that is dying. Even in the commercial sense- Garth Brooks is blamed for ruining real Country music, but ironically, his music of the early 90s was more authentic than anything "Country" today. But Country music runs heads with itself because on one hand it demands "authenticity" and "purity", on the other it needs record sales. Pop music is soulless and bland, and never had this connundrum. Rock and Rap music are primitive expressions. But I do love Country. Also, Patsy Cline did have a slight Southern accent, its just that hers was real. Just like Elvis. No one says thats a bad thing. Frank Sinatra's NJ accent grates on my ears a lot more than Patsy Cline or Elvis. That being said, I've always loved Country songs, and I enjoy the performance of Country music itself. Not so much in its current state, but you have to look beyond the mainstream .

I've been watching these Meade threads for a while now not wanting to comment or appear judgemental. But I have to say that by all appearences Meade Skelton is a flaming butt licking queer that I'm almost certain has been ass fucked and sodomized by every male adult he has come in contact with his whole life. How do you know God did not create homosexuals to keep the population manageable? It seems to me it would be a good plan.

After tons of research on this site and other forums and digging through countless threads of other posters belittling meade (and justifiably so) I came across a thread or two on alt country forums where he actually admits he's mildly autistic aka Asbergers. He also admits that one of his sisters is full on autistic (Gretchen or does he have more?). Once I saw that I started thinking a lot ... And my questions is, is it okay to make fun of meade because the guy has a mental disability? He doesn't think the way we think which is pretty clear reading his responses to people saying he's racist, fat, balding, no talent , no future, no money, no sex. Are we bad people?
