Romney still pulling ahead

Rasmussen now has Romney up 4 points and, more importantly at the golden 50% mark. On top of that, he has the Senate 48/47 Democrat with 5 toss ups so the Senate is still very much in play. Everyone still has the House staying solidly Republican.

For the umpteenth time:

National presidential tracking polls have no meaning.

President Obama will win OH, NV, WI, IA and, thereby, re-election.

Nothing else matter.

Romney is going to win Virginia.

Ohio will probably flip in the next week.

Romney doesn't need Ohio. He has FL, VA and CO, taking him to 257. Looks like he's pulling ahead in NH, which will take him to 261. Then he really only has to take one of the other swing states (or just IA + NV) to win. Obama is putting all his eggs into his firewall of OH, NV, IA and WI, but it's draining resources from PA and MI, which they thought was in the bag but are quickly turning into real horse races. I hope Romney doesn't fall for the siren song of PA and instead focuses on WI, where he has a real chance to win. OH would be icing on the cake at that point.

The President will win OH, WI & IA and, thereby, re-election.

They're still skewed to the democrats and Romney's now winning them. Scary for the sheeple. Good for the country tho. Baaaaaaaaaaa

Why are the polls still skewed the sheeple might ask? Because polls based on the 2004 or even the 2000 model would put this election out of reach for Obama. The Obama-fawning MSM know that Obama's only chance is to create a turnout model like 2008 (plus 8 democrat). With current polls showing a double digit enthusiasm gap against democrats, the MSM has to pump up Obama's chances to keep them from just giving up. Using 2004 turn out models would move WI, OH and PA into lean-Romney and that would put Romney well over 300 with FL, VA and CO moving to likely-Romney. Either the polls are wrong and Romney is much more ahead than the toss-up they're selling or they are right and there will be a massive democrat turn-out that normally only happens once every generation or two. Which seems more likely?

Mittens & Ann will enjoy a nice, long rest by the sea in LaJolla, while the President gets back to work as leader of the free world.
