Does anybody know how to contact Cary outside of this site? Without getting into to too much detail, I need his help in removing some illegal and slanderous content from a certain thread. He helped me out with this issue once before, but it took over 2 months to get taken care of due to the fact that he takes forever to read his messages. I don't feel like waiting another two months. Also seeing that my message sent last night is still unread, yet he's been active on here as recent as earlier this afternoon...it's pretty frustrating! I'm well aware that I will probably get some trolls with unrelated and unhelpful responses, but any legitimate, helpful responses will be greatly appreciated!

Does this "illegal" content affect your safety or has it caused you financial damages?
Otherwise I don't know if Cary will be required to do anything. As crazy as it sounds, that's the beauty of the internet.

Well if it isnt violating a law, which it sounds like it isnt, then Cary will not remove it.
That would kind of defeat the purpose of the site if Cary got to decide what people posted. If it's within the letter of the law (not a death threat or child porn, etc.) then it stays.

I see your point..but he removed the content in question the last time this happened to me. So I would have no reason to think he wouldn't do so now.

I see your point..but he removed the content in question the last time this happened to me. So I would have no reason to think he wouldn't do so now.

he has already stated that the off topic forums are lightly moderated. And this recent denial of service attack that lasted a good week before anything was done is proof of that. So dont get your hopes up that Cary will intervene on your behalf. You are not a paying customer to this site.

I had risque photos of me posted on here by a dude who doesn't know how to handle his anger appropriately. They were sent to his cell phone years ago, and he decided to post a thread about me with those photos out of the blue, saying that I gave a bunch of people STD's and all that other nonsense. Even posted a link to my Facebook page and my phone number. It's not the untrue slanderous words he posted that I'm trying to get removed, it's the photos. And Cary worked with me last time around and deleted the photos and live links from the server. Sooo...yeah.

Something like that sounds like your safety could be threatened. In an instance like that I feel Cary may make an exception when he gets around to it. Seems he may already have.
