Woman gets 6 years in coffee stand robbery
An Oregon woman who robbed a Eugene coffee stand to support a heroin addiction has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.
The Register-Guard reports that 20-year-old Caitlin Marie Eisen pleaded guilty and was sentenced Wednesday in Lane County Circuit Court.
Eisen drove up to a Dutch Bros. coffee stand on Nov. 14 and threatened to use a weapon while demanding cash from two employees. She left after the workers handed her a cash register drawer filled with money.
Prosecutors said Eisen immediately went and purchased heroin with the money she stole.
Police said Eisen had no criminal history and had been working as a dancer at an adult club in Springfield.

Coffee kiosk robber given 61/2 years in prison
An exotic dancer who robbed a Eugene coffee stand of cash that she subsequently used to support a heroin addiction will serve prison time for the crime.
Caitlin Marie Eisen, 20, pleaded guilty and was sentenced Wednesday in Lane County Circuit Court to six years, eight months in prison for robbing a Dutch Bros. kiosk at 311 E. 11th Ave. She will spend three years behind bars before she becomes eligible for prison programs that could reduce her sentence, Lane County Deputy District Attorney David Schwartz said.
On the evening of Nov. 14, Eisen drove up to the coffee stand in a 2002 Honda Accord and threatened to use a weapon while demanding cash from two employees. She left after the workers handed her a cash register drawer filled with cash, police said.
A few minutes later, Eisen threw the drawer out of her driver's side window near the corner of Sixth Avenue and Oak Street, police said.
Eisen then immediately went and purchased heroin with the money she stole, Schwartz said.
Police later arrested Eisen at a motel in the 300 block of West Seventh Avenue, where she had been living.
Eisen worked as a dancer at an adult club in Springfield, police said.
Eisen, who had no criminal history, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of third-degree robbery as part of a plea agreement. She initially was charged with two counts of second-degree robbery.
Had she been convicted of those charges, she could have been sentenced to a lengthier mandatory prison term than the one she received as a result of the plea deal.
