Are parts of Virginia considered The "Bible Belt"?

I wouldn't say Northern Virginia , but definitely some areas. Although, I see lots of Korean Baptist churches and some mega churches in this region as well. I think we could be. Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell and Dr. Charles Stanely are all from Virginia. Ive heard of snake handlers also out in Southwestern Virginia. So, are we?

Virginia is a southern state filled with Confederate-loving rednecks and mouth-breathers. However, the expansion of hi-tech jobs in Northern Virginia and new arrivals from progressive states and countries is dragging Virginia kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Yeah. They are leaving "progressive" states after they have run them into the ground. Ask yourself why there is such an exodus from "progressive" states?

I think it has a lot to do with osmosis -- moving from a high concentration to a low concentration through a semi-permeable membrane.

People have been moving out of cities to the suburbs for a long time. Now the metropolis extends all the way down the east coast.

I don't think Virginia is part of any "belt."

Edit: Wikipedia tells me Virginia is in the Cotton Belt and Stroke Belt. WTF

By and large, yes it is. When you get well west of here, you certainly are. Leesburg and west and then down through Central VA on into the Carolinas. Any area that has plenty of Bible radio stations/Gospel. Bible Belt gets a negative connotation, but its really not. Just more areas that believe.
