Head guy in company sends out email to everyone concerning something no one cares about. More of a look at me and what I am doing.
Next regional head forwards same email with notation FYI. Local boss also forwards same email with FYI. Immediate supervisor forwards it FYI.
In life I know this is small crap but it drives me nuts filling up the inbox when its obvious to all who FYI that it was already sent to us. Is it my company or is this typical?

That's not unusual. This is done so you don't have an excuse to say, "I didn't get that email." Your bosses do it so, if you ever do say, "I didn't get that email," they can say, "Well, I sent it to him."
Some employees also set up rules so this kind of note goes into a folder without being read instead of clogging up their inbox. Everyone forwarding it is just doing CYA with the FYI, LOL YOLO.
