This is comical!
Ref deal better be done by next weekend or Goodell might start receiving death threats.

The deal would only cost $65K per team. Seems ridiculous for a league that takes in $9 billion right?

If anything the scabs are just proving to the owners how valuable the refs are.

The worst part is that this isn't the only game this weekend they effected. They cost the Patriots the Game last night.

I would say the refs have influenced the outcomes of numerous games this season, but tonights hail mary call will be the one everyone will point to because it was soooooo obviously wrong and witnessed by fans of all teams on a national stage,,,

If the replacement officials go all 16 weeks, they will have to put an asterick beside this season,,,

The enduring image of this game is the Packers players rummaging through their team trunk looking for their helmets to go back on the field for the meaningless PAT...

This game will be talked about for YEARS. It's ridiculous that the regular refs are locked out. The NFL is a BILLION dollar industry. They are less than $100K apart. The problem is until people stop coming to the games or watching the games why would they cave?

The last play will be replayed ad nauseum, but the entire 4th quarter was littered with atrocious calls. It was almost as if they would make a bad call and to make up for it, make another bad call. It was fun to see the ESPN guys speachless at the end.

I truly believe the official at the end thought they were in the Packer endzone. That's the only way that call makes sense. It wasn't even like Tate wrestled the ball away from Jennings on the ground.

40 years ago, I caught the "Immaculate Reception". Last night was the "Inaccurate Reception".

Still... what're you gonna do? Not watch football? The NFL has America by the short and curlies. And that's that. They'll bring the real refs back when they get the deal they want.

All these ESPN babbling idiots talking about "the integrity of the game! player safety! games being decided by officials!"... about as effective as political ads.

If these had been the regular officiating crew there would be an investigation for fixing the game. These replacement refs were atrocious. I can't imagine even a ref for Pop Warner who could blow soooo many calls.

A "roughing the quarterback" call that took away a Packer interception. Wilson was getting chased down and threw the interception just as the Packer was tackling him.

A defensive pass interference call where the Packer had position on the ball and the Seahawk player was draped over the Packer players back like a fur coat.

Shoving a Packer in the back in the endzone on the final play.

And, of course, the missed call on the interception in the endzone. Check out the picture, does this look like the Seahawk has possession of anything other than a Green Bay Packer?

This football season will go down as an asterisk.
