Possible Gang Murder Violence in Loudoun

I hope we can get this Loudoun posting board fired up with some responses. How do all of you Loudoun residents feel about not being able to take a walk for fear of a group of thugs killing you? Any thoughts? How can we as residents help the police cath these psychopaths?

Now we can't even take walks without worring...I may have to carry a gun in my baby diaper bag!

Fucking trash!

You realize this was Lansdowne - one of the premier neighborhoods in Loudoun County - not talking Sterling Park. I mean $700k and up homes. We should just have the Delta Force take these thugs out everywhere. We pay taxes and the police can't dissuade this type of bad behavior. How bout we let Special Forces, Navy Seals and Green Beret into our neighborhoods to take care of this crap. I'll put them all up at my house for the week.

This was not gang related...word has it that this was a professional Hit.
The job is done. Guy is 86'd. His wife will never say a word about it and whoever did it is long gone. This case will quietly go away

I'm still laughing at "not inside guy"s comment about his professional hit theory.

This heinous crime will be discovered to be the handy work.....once again, of the
vicious criminals which make up a majority of the illegal alien community!

They do not care about our laws! They do not endeavor to assimilate into our society. They are a threat to innocent US citizens. They are responsible for nearly all of the recent murders and violent crimes in our community. They steal our emergency services and health care and other social programs like food stamps and
rent assistance...

To punish them we send them back home to ElSalvador on a taxpayers paid flight to visit family members just to have them cross the porous southern border again illegally 3 weeks later.....

What needs to happen to get good people to stand up and say "enough already"!

Let Americans flip our burgers and cut our grass and send the illegals packing!

I also heard this was a professional hit. As bad as this sounds - a professional hit would be better for the community in the long term. People might sleep better at night knowing the neighborhood is still safe. I say this with the utmost consideration knowing that any murder should never be tolerated.

But we must also concede that if this murder was at the hands of GANGS then Loudoun County is in big trouble and the Loudoun County Sheriff's Department has been sleeping at the wheel.

If we find out this is GANG related, I am going to be calling every LC Supervisor to find out why the Sheriff's Department spends so much time hiding behind bushes and trees pounding everyone with useless tickets when we have gangs running wild.

I agree with both of you and yes the Delta Force scenario only espresses my desire for these kinds of crimes to cease! We have some the most educated people in the world living in Loudoun County. I'd like to see some of that brain power help solve this one because I'm afraid the Sheriff might not.

Chief! The facts don't support a professional hit. "Rectumite" is right in my opinion. Why not an illegal (ElSalvadorian), they're doing most of the crimes in Loudoun! Do you read the news papers stupid shit. When was the last time you heard of a group of white men (and believe me it had to be a group) kill and rape a 50+ year old couple. NEVER stupid ass! Oh yea, and statistically I'll bet ElSalvadorians own White VANS over us White RACIST Punks maybe 15 to 1.

Has anyone heard anything this week concerning this case? Loudoun County Sheriff's office has been very tight lipped about this.

I'm wondering if those thugs they arrested last weekend in Ashburn were responsible and law enforcement is putting a case together.

I agree. Rectumite sounds like a total racist and an idiot.

Not all illegals commit crime. Alot of them do follow the laws, pay taxes. Now you want to send them back, think twice because I know that most people would not want to do the dirty jobs that illegals do.

Really, can you see Americans flipping burgers, cutting grass, cleaning, painting, roofing, construction, trash services etc? Probably not many...Yes there are some, but they are very rare, most of these services are provided by hard working immigrants who just want to live a better life in the United States.

Now those Illegals who do act up and behave in a criminal manner, then the law should definitely act upon them.

Put yourself in their shoes, apparently you have never seen their struggles. I have, and I appreciate their hard work. I do disagree with the criminals and gangs, they can lock them up, kill them etc, but I do respect the hard working illegals that want to provide a better life for their families.

Really Ed()? You respect the illegals hard work? Great, so if they were working that hard and they're freakin' serious about making a better life for themselves and their families, they can work their asses down to the DHS office and get a green card and start working on some citizenship. With the current moron in the wh, it should be no problem with the authorities to get a little 'mnesty. Right?

You're the kinda guy that thinks the USPS is a well run organization too.

How did this get to the topic of illegals? Most of the crimes are committed by illegals but thats not the point. Gangs is the problem here, black, hispanic, white, regardless of who makes it up, its the problem. I say, we all start fighting back, we should all group up (like they do) and just roll around beating the crap out of them until they leave. Our city, our neighborhood.

Why did you bump a year old thread?

Illegals and immigrants in general are to blame for gangs. Why don't you do some research into American sociology before you go bumping old threads?

Who needs illegals when we have people with your verbal skills?

I hate that Arian brotherhood too... always out there trying to deny that the Son (Christ) is Homoousios with the Father. Geez, you'd think after several 4th and 5th century ecumenical councils these guys would have gotten the message.

Gang violence and crime is up in Loudoun. When I am home during the day, usually I get visited by solicitors during the course of the day. I've also found illegals in my back yard looking at our lawn furniture (on our deck). My dog is good at scaring them away. Another thing that helped was putting up a scary mask in the window. (in this case, the Scarecrow mask from Batman).

the gang violence in loudoun county has been all over the place. i pulled my kids from public schools because i found out they were trying to integrate the gang members back into the school population which led to more fights in classrooms and crime. i called the high school principal and she told me to "get used to it". after that i pulled them out and put them in private school.

Department of Justice Press Release
http://washingtondc.fbi.gov/dojpressrel/pressrel10/wfo061810a.htm

For Immediate Release
June 18, 2010 United States Attorney's Office
Eastern District of Virginia
Contact: (703) 299-3700
Second MS-13 Member in as Many Weeks Sentenced for Drive-By Shooting

ALEXANDRIA, VA—Jose Enrique Gordillo Portocarrero, also known as “Bandito,” 22, of Sterling, Va., was sentenced today to 148 months in prison, followed by a term of five years of supervised release, for his role in a drive-by shooting in Sterling, Virginia.

Neil H. MacBride, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia; Shawn Henry, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI Washington Field Office; Loudoun County Sheriff Stephen O. Simpson, and Chiefs Charlie Deane and Joseph Price of the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force made the announcement after sentencing by United States District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema.

Portocarrero pled guilty on March 9, 2010, to aiding and abetting attempted murder and discharge of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. According to court documents, on the evening of Sept. 13, 2008, Portocarrero and two other MS-13 members were traveling in defendant’s vehicle around Sterling, Virginia, when one of the passengers observed a suspected rival gang member walking down a nearby street. After seeing the suspected rival, Portocarrero pulled his vehicle over. His two passengers exited the vehicle and made it clear that they were going to pursue and attack the suspected rival. Portocarrero drove his vehicle down the street and heard the report of multiple gun shots followed by the sirens of police and emergency vehicles. Portocarrero picked up one of the MS-13 members and as that individual was getting into the vehicle, he placed a pistol in his pants. Portocarrero drove the MS-13 member to an overpass where the spent ammunition casings were discarded.

The suspected rival gang member and his pregnant female companion suffered multiple gunshot wounds, received emergency medical treatment, and survived.

On June 11, another MS-13 member, Jose Enrique Rivas Ayala, also known as “Pequeno,” 26, of Sterling, Virginia, was sentenced to 150 months in prison for driving MS-13 members to a shooting in Reston, Virginia.

This case was investigated by the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, and the Northern Virginia Regional Gang Task Force. Assistant United States Attorneys Patricia Haynes and Zachary Terwilliger prosecuted the case on behalf of the United States.

MS-13 Soldier Pleads Guilty to Murdering Mother and Child
http://www.fbi.gov/newyork/press-releases/2011/ms-13-soldier-pleads-guilty-to-murdering-mother-and-child

Nine Other MS-13 Members Plead Guilty to Racketeering Offenses

U.S. Attorney’s Office
June 15, 2011 Eastern District of New York
(718) 254-7000

— filed under: New York Top Stories, Press Release

Earlier today, La Mara Salvatrucha (“MS-13”) member Rene Mendez Mejia, also known as “Zorro,” pleaded guilty to two counts of causing death through use of a firearm in connection with the February 5, 2010, execution-style murders of Vanessa Argueta, a 19-year-old woman, and her 2-year-old son, Diego Torres, in Central Islip, New York.1 When sentenced by United States District Judge Joseph F. Bianco on October 21, 2011, Mejia faces a maximum term of life imprisonment. In addition, nine of Mejia’s MS-13 co-defendants have pleaded guilty to racketeering offenses over the last several days.

The plea proceedings were announced by Loretta E. Lynch, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Janice K. Fedarcyk, Assistant Director-in-Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York Field Office, Thomas C. Krumpter, Acting Commissioner of the Nassau County Police Department, and Richard Dormer, Commissioner of the Suffolk County Police Department.

As detailed in previously-filed court documents and Mejia’s plea allocution, the bodies of Argueta and Torres were found in a secluded wooded area; Argueta had been shot in the head and chest, and Torres had been shot twice in the head. Mejia’s fellow MS-13 gang members have also pleaded to the following charges:

Walter Flores-Reyes, also known as “Scrappy,” pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Assault with Dangerous Weapons in Aid of Racketeering, in connection with a September 14, 2008, attack at Antojitos Bar in Hempstead, New York.

Diego Ninos, also known as “Veneno,” and Cesar Landaverde, also known as “Rebelde,” pleaded guilty Conspiracy to Commit Murder in Aid of Racketeering in connection with an October 2008, plot to murder a rival 18th Street gang member in Glen Cove, New York.

Emilio Saballos, also known as “Caballo,” pleaded guilty to RICO charges, including predicate acts of Witness Tampering and Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, which took place in Freeport, New York.

Wilber Ayala-Ardon, also known as “Pajaro,” pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Murder in Aid of Racketeering in connection with two shootings of rival gang members in June and July 2009, both of which took place in Hempstead, New York.

Giovanni Prado, also known as “Joker,” Erick Alvarado, also known as “Gato Seco,” and Elenilson Ortiz, also known as “Shorty,” pleaded guilty to Attempted Murder in Aid of Racketeering, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Aid of Racketeering, and Witness Tampering, respectively, all stemming from a baseball bat beating outside El Cibao Bar in Freeport, New York in November 2009.

Francisco Ramos, also known as “Cruiser,” pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to Commit Murder in Aid of Racketeering, and two counts of Conspiracy to Commit Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in Aid of Racketeering. During his plea, Ramos admitted, in sum and substance, that after being arrested for the September 14, 2008, assaults at Antojitos Bar, he conspired to kill three witnesses to the assaults. He also admitted to plotting to assault another inmate at the Nassau County Correctional Center, who he believed to be cooperating with law enforcement authorities.
“This young mother and her child lost their lives to senseless gang violence. Street gangs, and their associated wanton violence, have no place in our communities,” stated United States Attorney Lynch. “We will utilize all available resources to eliminate them and put an end to these senseless and brutal crimes.” Ms. Lynch praised the work of the FBI Long Island Gang Task Force,2 which investigated the case.

The government’s case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys John J. Durham and Raymond A. Tierney.

The Defendants:

ERICK ALVARADO (a/k/a “Gato Seco”)
Age: 29

WILBER AYALA-ARDON (a/k/a “Pajaro” and “Piolin”)
Age: 19

CESAR LANDAVERDE (a/k/a “Flaco” and “Rebelde”)

1 Adalberto Ariel Guzman, also known as “Gringo,” and Heriberto Martinez, also known as “Boxer,” were also indicted in connection with the Argueta and Torres murders. The charges remain pending against those defendants, and they are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
