By Thursday, Isaac will have made landfall. While there will be some minor flooding and destruction, New Orleans will be unscathed for the most part.
Idiots in this forum will attribut this as an Obama success and point to the perceived failures of Bush during Katrina (even though the blame should be with Nagin and Blanco) in order to make a comparison and score political points. They will ignore the fact that BILLIONS of dollars have been spent updating the levys and pumping systems. They will ignore the fact that Hurricane Isaac will be FAR LESS intense than Katrina (1 compared to 3). They will ignore the fact that the failed leaders of Katrina, Blanco and Nagin, have been replaced by Jindal and Landriu.
Yes, these idiots can and will use a natural disaster for political purposes.
