This photo shows a makeshift sidewalk repair from two years ago that a Washington Gas repair crew allegedly sprinkled powder on and left after being asked to fix it, according to Oak Hill resident Sheila Koch.

We're a gas utility company not a concrete company. Why would you expect us to do competent repairs to her sidewalk? With no competition, we have no reason to do competent natural gas work...

They met the minimum legal requirement, perhaps you should be more pissed about the lack of regulations from Virginia... you know the corporate friendly state that we all laud except when it actually fucks us over.
