Fairfax City Police arrested a man who allegedly stole items from two city businesses and attempted to steal from a third.
Tracey Edward Reeves, 52, of no fixed address was charged with three counts of felony larceny.
Reeves allegedly took a used cup from the trash at the Fairfax Boulevard Panera Saturday morning, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department. He refilled the coffee cup and left without paying. Two hours later, he allegedly attempted to steal merchandise from the T-Mobile store down the street.
Officers tracked Reeves down and found items stolen from the Fairfax Boulevard Walgreens.
Because of his criminal history, Reeves' charges are considered felonies.
