TSA agents usually have pay grade level of "G", which gives a minimum of $39,358 and a maximum of $60,982/year.

The last time I flew out of Dulles, I came across several passengers that had horrible body odor.
The control freaks at the TSA can fuck off, but I do feel bad for the normal person that has to get into these peoples' personal space and check the deep crevices.

I couldn't resist the last time, having an under the pants wallet for traveling abroad. Wish it was traveling on a broad. Anyhow, they told me "you have something under your pants, and for security reasons we have to check it."

Lol at the 'g' band comment. I wish we started at g band. I am litterally on my break at dulles airport right now. i work for tsa, and we all start out at d band (appx $15.20/hr) and for the first two months for training u r full time, after you go to part time, its mandatory. After that you have the option to go full time but there is no telling how long that could take. Luckily i work baggage so i dont have to deal with the bitchy public.

According to court documents, the agency had received a complaint of "very similar" activities back in 2009.
Bryant Jermaine Livingston, 39, was arrested while on the job as a supervisor of TSA agents at Dulles International Airport. The Manassas, Virginia resident, said by phone he is innocent of the charges, but declined to discuss the details of the case.
According to charging documents, on February 15th, Livingston used cash to rent a room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, Md. The hotel manager recognized Livingston as a previous customer who, on earlier occasions had "groups of males and females frequently entering and exiting Livingston's room," according to a court document.
Similar activity was happening on February 15, so the manager called Montgomery County Police to report likely prostitution. Responding officers offered to accompany the manager as she went to evict the people from the room.
At the doorway, Livingston denied prostitution was occurring, and invited the manager and police into the room.
Responding officers say they saw, "11 people inside the room [including] three naked females and four males attempting to get dressed. Multiple people were laying on the two beds and other people were sitting in chairs and standing in the room."

The entire operation of tsa at the airport is a game. A game with serious consequences for the players. Currently management officials are essentially on the chopping block for the inefficient operations that they are basically in charge of running. So in a desperate attempt to save their own asses, they are constantly looking at the cameras (which are for recording everything from when a passengers bag is open until its closed. They tell us that in case someone claims you stole from them we can have proof of exactly what happened during the search of their bag) to find any reason to reprimand, discipline, punish us so they can show the bigger boss that they are handling the situation. Sucks for a lot of good officers that i know and work with who are allegedly out the door for shit as dumb as eating freeze pops near the work area which gets up to triple digits or using their phone in the work area. They are good people who are going to be screwed because who wants to hire someone who was terminated from the federal government? Its a sad stab, stack, and climb work environment where everyone worries about other people instead of themselves. Theres a daily example with your co workers for how a few shitty people can ruin the good things for the rest of the bunch.
And yes, at every level from d band employees to j band directors, there are complete idiots who their existence in their position seriously puts doubt into the effectiveness of the results we are EXPECTED to be producing. It is scary how much responsibility is put into some people that are boarderline retarded. It is scary! You DO NOT want to know how scary it is...
