This time there's a "new Sheriff in town." He is the complete polar opposite of Gerry, and he's a Virginia man named Chris Perkins. He's been all over the world fighting for our freedoms, led hundreds of men into battle, and is polite, responsive, polished, and everything that Gerry isn't.

Gerry was able to "gerrymander" the district to his liking, but this career politician, has a rude awakening coming to him come November. Once the voters are more familiar with the well thought out positions of Chris Perkins, along with his leadership, and willingness to do what's required to represent the people of his district, rather than those somewhere else, Gerry will be given the boot.

We get it -- you don't like Gerry C. But you're not going to beat him. Keep banging your chest and telling us that this time it'll be different. Ain't happening.

If you feel proud of Gerry's accomplishments, please feel free to mention them right here. It would be an honor to hear of what he has done for Fairfax, and how he has been an excellent public servant. Even Tom Davis's office, which was not known for helpful constituent services, makes Gerry's even more disappointing. He's not doing very well, for a man from the Massachusetts political machine, where he should have learned those important Boss Tweed like lessons.

He'd probably be a nice guy to sit down and have a beer with. Yet, as our representative, his career has been an abysmal failure. Its not personal, although I don't think highly of his integrity, or lack thereof. Rather, its based upon policy, of which Gerry C is the proverbial definition of failure.

2. SOPA
3. CISPA
4. NDAA with provisions to indefinitely detain Americans

Approval of Congress by the American people is what? 5%? He doesn't have a chance in hell of being reelected.

Ken Vaughn will uphold the Constitution and help to restore our Republic. He's pro-life, pro 2nd amendment (Chris Perkins says leave it up to the states), for smaller government AND military (Perkins wants bigger military and alphabet agencies). Yep, Ken Vaughn is my choice for liberty and smaller government.

If the Republican can stay clear of the holy rollers and run a fiscal conservative campaign he can win. If he goes for the personal choice issues then he will be defeated.

FBO, I concur with your points, and am wondering if this is Gerry, or a relative of his, as the notations show a profound lack of intelligence, and are based on light weight emotion over ration based words, that fail to describe any of Gerry's accomplishments, and also cannot stop the growing train of his opposition coming to run him down in the 11th district.

Grasping for straws, it is sad to see this lack of a spine, common sense, and of being able to promote Gerry in such a way, that should make any constituent proud, regardless of party and/or political beliefs.
