Mattress Fundraisers

I saw one of these for the first time about six months ago for a church youth group on Route 50, but now it seems like every high school is doing one. Is this the new trend in fundraising? If so, has anyone bought a mattress at one of these events?

It is very hard to find a retail store that sells mattresses locally and it would be interesting to know how the price, selection and quality compares to what I have seen online.

Just bought one from Robinson a few weeks ago. Will let you know when they arrive. I thought the prices were decent for higher end mattresses. They carried Restonic and another brand, Southerland I think. And they had knockoffs of some hotel brands (Weston's Heavenly and a couple others).

We also bought one from the Robinson fundraiser. It seems like a great mattress at a great price. The only catch was the delivery service that they used. They were supposed to deliver between 12-4pm and ended up arriving at 11pm.
