Got a Reckless Driving...How much $$$

Got an 82 in a 60 a few hours away from here. Can't prepay. Have to appear in court, wondering how much I will get raped for.

I would have my speedomentor calibrated, usually about $100 bucks. If its off by several miles your wreckless becomes a speeding. Try to arrange to speak with the commonwealth attorney before trial and show your speedomenter paperwork. If the speedomenter is correct def get an attorney.

Was in Hampton, down by VA Beach. Highway dropped from 70 to 60 mph pretty quickly. 82 in a 70 doesn't look as bad as 82 in 60.

80 mph and over is automatically reckless driving in VA, regardless the speed limit...
