LORTON, Va. — Fairfax County police say a hit-and-run driver who led police on a chase has been taken into custody after crashing in Lorton.

According to WUSA-TV (http://tinyurl.com/d56jztc ), police say the driver fled the scene of a crash on Old Keene Mill Road at Greeley Boulevard about 2 a.m. Monday. Officers tracked down and chased the driver, who eventually crashed at Ox Road near Palmer Drive.

Lanes of Ox Road in the area had been closed after the accident.
