Green Turtle Fairfax Opened

Has anyone gone to the new Green Turtle in Fairfax? Whats it like?

Couple friends and I went there Friday night around 10, wasn't too busy. We ordered wings and beers - tall yuengling was $5. However, wings took forever to come out - a good 15 minutes, probably. Keep in mind it wasn't very busy at all. I know they just opened, but how hard is it to get wings out? Can't see myself going back...ever. Food was meh, service was terrible.

Pretty fancy joint for a sports bar, nice tv set up. Seems more like a singles bar wanna be than a sports bar

Green Turtle also has a relatively new place in Ballston just down Glebe headed north from intersection with Wilson blvd.

seemed a bit off the beaten path from most other Ballston bars

Loved it. Its got a small tv with sports at each table. Enough said

Went on Monday for the Caps game, really nice inside great TVs etc. However the service needs some work - it was slow, and unattentive, until the manager happend to hear me make a comment, then it got better. Its a nice new alternative to BWU, Auld Shebeen, and Icons - they just need to work the kinks out.

Also, I didn't see one good looking/hot bartender or cocktail server. That would definitely help bring people in - staff is struggglin in the looks department as well.
