Hey, Blue Thunder. Who annointed you the content guardian of this forum? Susie asked a legitimate question and, judging by the number of posts you're griping about, people are interested in finding out why they're being woken up all the time.
After looking into this situation for some time, I've concluded that about half of the flights are made just because the chopper happens to be available. For example, in February the cops had it circling around here looking for an allegedly suicidal kid. Turns out the kid was at home and the cops just hadn't gotten around to going there. At over $400 bucks an hour, that was an expensive screwup.

Hey, if it wasn't for Blue Thunder, I would never have gotten home.

If providing a number to get FACTUAL information from the people IN THE HELICOPTER makes me the guardian of the forum than so be it. You' re a miserable douchbag that has nothing good to say on here about most subjects let alone any USEFUL information. If you have such a hard for the police and its helicopter unit, then make an appointment to talk to the BOS and the Chief of Police. Unless you area scanner squirrel who shows up at the location of these events , you really dont know what the police do or what they need to do their jobs.

Will you kindly stop telling people what to do. First you tell Susie to quit posting her inquiries on this site. That's none of your business. Now you're telling me to take my concerns about the police chopper to a bunch of bureaucrats who already have received numerous complaints about this situation. So, if you don't like these posts, don't read them. And stop the innuendo. I'm not impressed by your gratuitous suggestions or your condescending nasty language. Next time, think before you speak.
