Woman and two young children ring my doorbell at 1am. Hell no I didn't answer. Watched from upper window, they walk off and 5 more kids looking to be 12-15 appear from the sides. They leave and come back 5 mins later to ring another place up the street, same thing. The group of 5 run and scatter to check out the sides and back.
Motherfcers are casing the place to see if anything is open like a band of gypsy children, see who is on vacation. I guess the plan was to distract the homeowner with the woman and kids with a sob story while the damn hoodlums steal your shit.


I keep it locked up tight, called the cops to come drive by (they come after a good 25-30 mins) with search lights on. (What, no helicopter when you actually want one?)
This was in Centreville tonight, about where rt 29 and 28 meet. Probably a band of thieving rats from Manassas.

Hmmm...this is interesting. Has a police report been filed? It's easy enough to do and at least gives a strong Heads Up to SOMEONE at the police station(s).

We did notify the police. They eventually came around to check it out. They were in my neighborhood right by the 28/29 intersection 1am-1.20 am. They could have made it to Fox Mill in a white pickup I saw tearing away after the police were called.

When solicitors come knocking, I usually answer the door toting my CQC operators rig and a Dyneema vest. They leave pretty quickly and don't come back.

Anyhow, it is amazing, how some of those "door to door" sales folks, often are enterprising criminals, looking for unlocked cars, unsecure houses, and such while casing neighborhoods. That is why a lot of jurisdictions, Fairfax City has it and enforces this(thank you), against door to door soliciting without a permit. Look at your jurisdiction, and nail anyone out selling shit, and if they pass your no sales/soliciting signs, turn the dog loose on them. They have no legal standing whatsoever, as they've been established with regards to trespassing.

I love my dog, she's great with them. Yup, those teeth are made for sales folks and potential criminals. Then again, the house is loaded if needed :)

People can be murdered for carrying iced tea and Skittles. I don't see any issue with taking out a band of gypsies for knocking on my door at 1am.

I was in Greece a number of years ago. Seeing the gypsies there was an eye opener. You would be sitting outside at a bar or cafe and the gypsy kids would come up to you, kind of linger, get a little too close, look at you with puppy-dog eyes, etc...Basically either to ask you for money or pick your pocket. Most people shoo them away, some show sympathy.

I live in fox mill and these kids robbed my items from my car. I heard them start to go into my dads car and chased the motherfuckers off with an airisoft gun....
