Usually they are sold as "paperweights," and yes they are legal in VA. Until you use them.

They are legal in Virginia as paper weights and such. If you bring them out in public, such on your person or in your car, you will be charged with carrying an illegal weapon.

They're legal to own, illegal to carry and transport.

In the land of right to carry firearms, why would you even consider any weapon other than a gun?

Caucasian, PLEASE!

The latter part of that law is entirely bogus. Wording very similar to that is in the code a number of times.

There oughta be a law against it!

With proper concealed carry permit it is not illegal to carry or use in self defence.

not legal to carry no matter what. concealed carry permit deals with firearms, not knives, brass knuckes, ect..... Not legal to carry no matter what the circumstances are. you may own them but they have to stay at home.

Knives are legal to carry as long as blade is 6 inches or smaller

Small but important correction. Virginia's concealed carry laws allows only HANGUNS and not any other firearm, no matter how small or concealable.

My friend got pulled over and had a pair in a box in his back seat(for a Rocky Horror prop), he was told that they have to be visible or it's considered a concealed weapon,(no ticket, and they didn't take them) but no, you don't need a permit to own them or carry them visibly.

Why is he searching boxs in the back seat without probable cause? Better question is why your BF let him.

They are illegal in Alaska and don't let officer Sean of Alaskan Troopers catch you selling them on the side of the road. He will take the brass knuckles from you and some the knifes you are trying to sell.

Brass knuckles may or may not be illegal, depending on specific circumstances, but if you use them or are caught with them everybody will assume -- probably correctly -- that you're up to no good. A mountaineering carabiner will serve the same purpose pretty effectively -- and legally-- and if you put some keys on it you have a perfectly acceptable reason to carry it in your pocket.

they are legal but not if you use them except in self defense. just like guns and long knives are.

that's a bullshit law where did you hear that FCPS ?

sure - in a store you cannot carry a machette as a customer, perhaps. unless the owner asked you to to do landscaping and your using: a machette

---------------------------
you have strange ideas that democrats just wave a wand and can tell you how long your knife can be

maybe in spain their King can get away with "absolute control of demanding any aspect they please of people"

in USA, no

and in present day - certainly not. i'll carry an axe maybe. if i so please. possibly not into a restraunt though.

Blade length for conceal carry in va is different in cities but i as a hunter am always carrying my buck knife which is 7 inches but my other one is 11 inches i carry it as well walk by cops no question asked because it is not concealed. Theres no length limit on an un concealed knife i do not recommend going in a bank nor a school though. Lol.

Tire Thumpers.. yes "Fiddle Sticks" Lol. Also known and sold as a Fish Billy.
used on boats.

Them SAP gloves can indeed be worn to punch thru a car window, Just got to go straight in not at any angle, and They do protect the knuckles from cuts from punching people in the face.. cuts from their teeth.

Sorry ladies, you all will have to take a pass on Sap Gloves, none of you are strong enough to use them. And I don't know if they made them in "Femme Spa" Sizes.. Or Pink Color. "Lousy Chauvinist Pig" I know Lol I Know ! ..But then again.. That Mad Cow.. Hillary.. she may be able to use them.. I best watch Out!

Maybe the Army Rangers should have a "Sap Glove Use Test" since women want to now be Rangers?? Or Navy Seals soon. Pass or Fail.. I pity the man who messes with a woman that can pass such a test! Ride The Metro Baby! Protect the Innocent!
