Hi. I'm applying to TJHSST this year as a sophomore and was wondering about my chances?
i have a 200 Psat score.. but only 130 in math+reading :(
and i have a 4.0 GPA..
i was in mathcounts, and i am on the regionals team for science olympiad.. and i got 3rd place in my school's science fair.
.. would I get in? i might get 1 bad reccomendation and 2 good ones.

-thanks,

This really isn't the place to ask. Nonetheless, as a former student of the school, I would advise you not to apply. It's a school filled with cheating students who will do anything and step all over you to get ahead. It's better to stay at your base high school, work hard and go to a great college.
If you apply for sophomore year, the chances of getting in are really slim. They only let in around 5-10 froshmores.

There was a thread on this a year or two ago, and a couple of kids in your position were quite active on it.

Go to your base school. TJ kids are horrible when it comes to social skills. There are plenty of kids that get into the exact same colleges as TJ kids but know how to handle life much better. They all crumble once outside their bubble.
