Velocity 5 Club Merrifield - Shark Club Reject?

There seems to be a new club in Merrifield in place of Old Shark Club.

It looks like a painted oveer version of old shark club.

What is the story with this place?

If it was a shark club once and looks like it hasn't fallen far, it probably has not... Wish I could say, good riddance

Ummm..have you actually been in the place??? We wouldn't call it a "shithole" if you have. Stop being so negative and check it out, it is really nice. 50 plasma tv's and dark hard wood all over...so judgemental, don't let the outside fool you.

so it's owned by the Shark club's people? I need to find out if they'll be showing all the Patriots games there this year. I used to go to the Shark all the time during football season to hang out with the Pats fans, so I was kinda upset when it closed down.

I went there once with a girlfriend and it was really nice. Food was really good, a tad pricey but not horrendous. It seemed like a really chill place to watch sports and just hang out. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay nicer than Shark Club used to be. And their specials were pretty good, especially Ladies Night on Thursdays. So don't knock it til you try it.

The old Shark Club was a good place to hang out. It was not clean, but
it was fun. There were a lot of good looking bartenders and waitresses

V5 is pretty clean. The bartenders and waitresses aren't that hot. I was there on Saturday for the Affliciton/UFC/Big O n Dukes thing. It's an average time, you can definitely find a better bar to waste your money at though.

Velocity 5 is a very nice place to go to eat and watch TV. The food is very good and the service is also good. Why do people go there if they want a 5star restaurant? This is a sports bar/restaurant. I doubt if children would enjoy eating there because it's a SPORTS BAR and "geared" for sports fans....

It is amazing some of the comments from people who have obviously never been there! The new V5 is a HUGE improvement from the Shark Club. The food is good and the happy hour drinks reasonable. I've had dinner there, and drinks, and happy hours, and it's good. And yes, I've taken my kids to eat there...
