To suggest that a single typo is indicative of a lack of intelligence would be illogical.

Regardless, one's ability to properly spell one specific word has no bearing on whether or not they are retarded.

Whether or not the support Santorum, on the other hand, is a seperate case.

Actually, I didn't. If I'd had Santorum as an option to vote against, maybe I would have bothered.
McCain/Obama - both were shitty options.

A typo? You really don't expect people to buy that line, do you?

True, but all the other prevailing evidence in conjunction with this misspelling definitely indicates a certain level of retardation. I am uncertain, however, if the retardation is some genetic/birth defect or if it is the product of an injury or environmental factor.

Until just a few months ago, Rick Santorum was the most embarrassing thing to come out of Penn State.

Now he's a close second.

The only person you have to blame for Rick Santorum not being on the ballot in Virginia is Rick Santorum. He didn't bother trying to get on the ballot. So that's why you can't vote for him.

Santorum poses the biggest threat to an Obama reelection because it will be first time, in long time that voters will have two distinct choices on who to vote for.

It will be Obamas message of bringing people down via taxing & redistribution

vs

Santorums message of lifting people up via economic liberty

I guess so, as long as your in line with his very conservative virtues. Everyone else need not apply.

Aww, Meep, don't be so hard on yourself. Joe Paterno is a bigger shithead than you, so that puts Santorum around 3rd most embarrassing.

Fat chance. You wingnuts better get behind ole Mitt, and soon. He's the only one with any chance at all of beating Obama.

Probably has something to do with the fact that in a state with 5,000,000 registered voters his campaign never bothered to hire a few Virginians to collect 10,000 signatures.

We need Rick....the reason the haters come out in droves against him is because they know he's the real deal. Pattycake time in America is about over and Rick will be our president. I don't think our country to handle anymore of the Obamafest. People voted for him for racist reasons (he's black and I want to be a part of history!) and threw away their vote on a bad used car salesman.

“They have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do. Government should keep our taxes down and keep our regulation low and that we shouldn't get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn't get involved in cultural issues, you know, people should do whatever they want.

Well, that is not how traditional conservatives view the world, and I think most conservatives understand that individuals can't go it alone, that there is no such society that I'm aware of where we've had radical individualism and that it succeeds as a culture.”

Enough said. Santorum's a catholic preacher wannabe. A religious anti-individualist to the core.

This man is no scholar. Be careful.

Rick is not a good selection for the party. He carries way too much baggage and they will tear him apart if he gets the nomination. If the Republicans want to be sure that Obama gets another term they should select Rick. I have a very good friend that grew up with Rick and still stays in close touch with him. Some of the thing he has told me about him have totally convinced me that this is not the man. The story about bringing the dead baby home to spend the night in the house so his other kids could get to know it is just flat wrong.

There's certainly no chance for Santorum to defeat Obama, that much is true.

I would've voted for Huntsman or Ron Paul. Fuck Romney and Gingrich - the only way I'm voting Republican now is if someone REALLY impresses me with their VP pick.

You have to be mentally challenged to think that Santorum has a shot at winning a general election, is a competent leader, and isn't mentally insane. People who support Santorum's beliefs are holding back this country. What other modern country would have an argument about birth control in 2012. Santorum says that Obama wants to push his views on you and create big government where as Santorum is for small government, except when it comes to the bedroom and he wants to push his religious views on everyone. He is a pathetic peice of shit and represents why the rest of the world hates America. I though only stupid redneck fucks from the south and mid-west were the only ones who support him but I guess Fairfax is also full of idiots...wait, I already knew that.

Yes, I agree completely about RS. Problem is, as you note, "What other modern country would have an argument about birth control in 2012?" Or sticking vaginal probes up women? Or about removing responsibility for education not only from the federal government but from the state governments? Or Romney waxing poetic about the heights of trees, and not being laughed out of the state? Joyce Kilmer he aint. Or Gingrich attacking Romney . . . for his ability (poor as it is) to speak French?

Would you like a serving of Freedom Fries with your order?

Unfortunately, the country's gone absolutely insane. In a rational universe, of course Santorum would have no chance of winning a general election. This is not a rational universe or a rational country any more.

President Santorum. Vice President Bob McDonnell. Virginia Governor Ken Cuccinelli.

Have you ever even read Brave New World? You've seriously got your wires crossed.

Its basically about what the world would be like in a leftist "utopia":

The complete loss of individualism
Babies born in laboratories
No Religion
No wars or violence - thanks to a drugged-up, disinterested population
No money - the gov't gives people everything they "need"

Basically Obama's view of the perfect America.

I just find it hard to believe that a Democratic machine state such as Pennsylvania, with a large population would elect Santorum not once but twice to the Senate if he is really as radical as people are trying to portray him.

I also find it strange that the left and their flunkies in the press are pushing so hard to destroy him during the primaries.

If he's as radical and un-electable as they claim, why not wait until the Repubs give him the nomination? Isn't that what they want, an easy victory for Obama?

The left is scared of Santorum, but doesn't seem to give a rats ass about Romney. That says a lot.
