OK, below is the link to the murder that happened in Vienna. So, what was written on the driveway?

I know Marysusan (very superficially) from prior years when my kids were in classes at the Flint Hill School with her boys. It was painfully obvious that Marysusan had some mental health issues but I don't think anyone suspected that she was capable of murder. I also don't know what was written on the driveway but it was probably a bunch of paranoid nonsense...it likely doesn't have a base in reality.

Her boys are very quiet, very obedient. I feel so badly for them and this should never have happened. I didn't know her husband very well so anything is possible, but I think he is probably a truly innocent victim. God help them all.

And I don't think whatever was written on the driveway will be of any help other than illustrate her mental health issues.

This is a tragedy. I also felt bad that they had to take all the pets to a shelter. Those poor kids have lost their dad, their mom, and also their pets. How sad.

I was an infrequent workplace acquaintenance of Ron's at DOT. He seemed like a good, quiet guy and I feel bad for him, his kids, and his coworkers that will miss him. I never met his family but Ron was always nice to me. Looks like he was just about around retirement age... what a way to go after a long life of looking forward toward retirement.

REDRUM! REDRUM!

But the article said something about their sex life or whatever. Or maybe she just spray painted "mother f-er" on the driveway and that's how the press translated it. Who knows, I am sure the details will come out.

sounds like she's a real winner when it says "It was a lot of work for him." high maintaince = crazy bitch

More on the story: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/03/04/AR2008030401545.html

A Vienna woman charged with killing her husband told police she fatally shot him, but only after he threatened to kill her first, punched her in the eye and swung a hammer at her, according to court records.

Marysusan Giguere, a stay-at-home mother of two middle-school aged boys, spray-painted allegations about her husband in a lengthy diatribe on the driveway, including references to their sexual relationship, according to law enforcement sources.

Just as she had alluded to in the spray-painted message, she told police her husband had "several boxes of hardcore pornography" inside the house and also had "child pornography on their home computer," the affidavit said.

Holy crap! What if what she's saying is true?!!! You have to give her props for thinking to spray paint her statement on the driveway. No stinking note that someone can throw away or keep secret.

Well, I honestly don't know what to think. I guess the forensic/computer evidence and testimony of her sons will prove whether or not she's telling the truth.

I am still deeply saddened for the two boys. Either way, they don't deserve this tragedy.

Her stories are such that they are easily confirmed if true, and equally discredited if not true. They can confiscate his PC, and she should have injuries consistent with blocking hammers with her arms and such. If her allegations are correct then they will be confirmed. If not, then it's another example of claiming abuse to justify a murder.

Thank God she had a gun...Hammers can cause real damage and there is no way to defend yourself against someone who "swung" a hammer at you and missed. Running or kicking in the balls is not an option.

But the REAL question remains: How many goats are in Fairfax County and what are they doing here?

Lengthy diatribes are often a sign of paranoid schizophrenics who have gone off their meds and have become delusional. Think Ted Kusinski. This poor woman may well have imagined the pornography.

It seems strange to me that this couple was engaged in 1977 (presumably married that year or the next) and didn't have children until 1994 and 1996. Few couples wait 17 years to have children.

Good grief. Crazy is not made, no one can make someone become delusional. Nothing MADE her crazy, she just was crazy. I'll bet she's had this happen before, I bet she's had delusional breaks with reality since her 20's. Who made Cho crazy? Or Ted Kaczynski? No one was responsible for their mental illnesses. This poor woman was mentally ill.

There is ZERO evidence that her children were sexually abused and it is ugly of you to suggest such a thing when the man is dead and cannot defend himself.

My prediction, an insanity plea, with ample evidence of paranoid schizophrenia with delusional breaks in reality, for decades.

Those poor children, their lives have been ruined. They must be so scared tonight. My heart breaks for them.

Like Ya is cool, I also live down the street from the murder. I think the reason she said that the father could have done something to the boys is because there was something written about it on the driveway. I thought that maybe she had written a few words, but when I went to the house, she wrote from the top of the driveway all the way to the bottom. She rambled on and on about rape and incest and cancer and his mother. I have some pictures of it but I dont know if I want to post them here or not.

I was in an ER once. The guy in the room next to me had just come from a bar fight. He was drunk, bloody and ranting. He was claiming he needed to get home because "they are going to kill my family." There were cops there with the guy.

I asked somebody there what the deal was. The guy was at a bar drinking, got into a fight and got the shit kicked out of him. There was no "they" and they weren't going to kill his family.

My point is, when people are out of their freakin' minds, they come up with some paranoid shit. Is it possible the husband committed a crime? Yeah, maybe. But it is certain the wife committed a crime because she murdered him.

I will give the dead guy the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Does it report anywhere what was said on the driveway? Im curious.

I really don't know that much about computers. And this one was a gift from my brother. It is NOTHING like my old one. But I still use dial-up (ok. Stop laughing.) and the modem went out on my old. So...this is what I have for now.

A source tells me that following preliminary investigations:

- No credible evidence that the victim was engaged in any type of pornography

- No evidence of domestic abuse

- Shooter will be sent to a hospital for court-ordered psychiatric evaluation

- Shooter allegations cannot be substantiated and appear to be fabrications

Who knows why the press cannot followup after printing her allegations but hopefully they will report the above soon.

I talked with Mary a week before this happened. She was battling cancer and was due to get on new medication the first of that week. New cancer meds can do weird things to you. She had also complained that her husband was isolating the kids from her and she was not included in any famiy outings. She said " he treats me like I am already dead" SO- there are all sides.
