A 55-year-old Woodbridge man faces charges after a 12-year-old acquaintance told police he raped her.

According to Prince William police spokesman Jonathan Perok, the Woodbridge girl told officers Wednesday Juan Vincente Mancia-Sandoval sexually assaulted her in the 13200 block of Treetop Ct. sometime after November, 2011.

Police charged Mancia-Sandoval with rape after investigating the complaint, Perok said.

Mancia-Sandoval, of the 13200 block of Treetop Ct., was held without bond. The date of his next court appearance is not available
