Will there also be a meeting discussing how citizens should coordinate funeral processions with their local police departments whether they are on motorcycles or not?

I support the police on this one. A long line of cars and motorcycles running red lights just to get to a grave yard? With GPS and the terrible traffic in this area a funeral procession should be a thing of the past. It might work in a small town with one light but not in a congested urban area like here.

I am sure if the cops escorted the long procession and someone hit one of the bike riders they would be suing the county for allowing such an unsafe event to happen. No civil rights were violated. The cops did not target anyone they simply put an end to an unsafe event.

So a law has to be passed because a funeral procession was terminated?

I don't think is going very far. Bikers don't seem to lack any inherent rights the rest of us have.

If you want to live in biker heaven, come on down to South Carolina. You won't have to wear a helmet and your bike won't be subject to safety inspections.

The Police had the right to stop it. That's not the issue, the issue is they disbanded it. That was wrong. Now if you say to stop all funeral processions, fine, let start with the Police! They just had one that when from D.C. to Va. and had traffic messed up for hours! so mister officer, Practice what you preach!

I think that something is wrong with you people. What happend to respecting the dead? Timmy was a good man. I was in his funeral and it was the most disrespectful funeral I have ever seen in my life. They did have police escorts at the funeral. They did what they could to obey the law, Herndon did their jobs and brought us from the funeral service to the fairfax county line problem was fairfax wasn't doing their jobs and wasn't there on time. What was the funeral suppost to do STOP AND WAIT AT THE LINE? What would you have done if it was your Dad in that hurst? You would have kept going too!! I think you all should be ashamed of yourself. He is someone's Dad and granddad and loved that he was. He was awesome to his family. Just because he liked his bike doesn't make him a bad person. -Just saying.

The Police targeted Rusty Hall and assumed that his younger brother was a Pagan. Why? Rusty used to be an active member of the Pagans MC as a 1%ER. He no longer is with the Pagans. Directly from Rusty's heart: "Timmy was never a Pagan."

Second of all, a few bikers on their own motorcycles did take it upon themselves to block several intersections just to stay together in formation. They should not have done that but, did anyway with the unconditional love for Timmy. Still, that was against the law what they did. That's the Police' job, not theirs.

Little did I know what the heck was going on when we were all stopped 2 or 3 times on Fairfax County Parkway.

When we finally got rolling again, I made a personal point to get to the grave yard and pay my respects. I did in silence then, left quietly. I chose to NOT attend the re pass because, I did not want any more ignorant, mindless and heartless Cops harrassing me. I probably wouldn't gotten in a physically fight, and end up in jail. So, it was wise for me to go off and grieve quietly.

This was the most dis respectful funeral procession I've witnessed by the Police of Fairfax County, VA.

And yes, those few Cops involved did PISS on the Hall Family and everyone in the funeral procession. Those Cops need to go back to their manuels and study up on HOW TO RESPECT ALL PEOPLE IN FUNERAL PROCESSIONS, current LAWS OF FUNERAL PROCESSIONS. Evidentally, those Cops don't care. I personally hope they are FIRED for the nasty profiling of Rusty Hall.

So, tell me more about this Pagans "group." They're a motorcycle club, or "gang," I believe. Are they worthy of my respect?...because I'm all about respect...
