Lights over Fairfax?

Last night (Dec. 23, 2011) my wife and I were driving down Braddock Rd west from the 495 on-ramp at around a few minutes before midnight. Just after passing Burke Lake Rd, I happened to casualy look up in the sky to my left and saw several red-orange orbs hovering in the sky.

At first, I didn't think anything of it, brushing it off as planes, but I kept looking again and it seemed like these lights were NOT planes. I told my wife to look to her left at the sky and she saw them too, not knowing what they were.

I pulled into a little neighborhood so we could stop and see what they were. They were about 6 or 7 lights, arranged in a somewhat triangular shape flying very, very slowly from the west to the east. Then a single glowing orb appeared behind the original group and followed, again very slowly.

I can tell you that these were not planes of ANY kind. Every plane known to exist on this planet has the taxi lights or wingtip stobes to avoid air collision. No matter how far up a plane is flying, you should be able to see these blinking lights.

These orbs did not blink or have blinking lights on them. Also, the size of these orbs were huge to suggest that they were pretty low to the ground.

Another car pulled into the neighborhood and I noticed the driver looking up at the sky at those orbs with a confused/curious look on his face as well. Then a man from that neighborhood was outside walking and came up to my wife and I because he noticed them too and wanted to verify that he was not the only one who was witnessing this phenomenon.

The lights lasted for a few minutes before they just simply faded away.

The rest of the night, I tried to analyze what I saw that night. Definitly not planes, there were no blinking lights and flying way too slow. They were not flares of any kind because the lights were too orginized in a pattern and they didn't have that pulsating that flares give off.

I'm wondering, HOPING, that someone else who was out that night around that time noticed these lights as well.

Sorry...that was us...the FCPD. We have a necroscope on our helicopter which allows us to locate human remains by detecting the decomposition gases. The scope's light appears red from the ground.

We have been receiving reports about a contractor in the area that is hiring illegals and then murdering them at the end of the job so that he doesn't have to pay them. We were acting on a tip about the location of the bodies and were searching in that location.

That is very near my house. I did not see the lights but I heard a series of noises around that time. I kept checking to see if the nieghboors were slamming car doors etc. but no one was around.

You know, for as many UFO's and Orbs and helicopters that some of you people come here to rant about, it boggles my mind that I have yet to see any of this shit. I was up clearly at midnight last night, and beyond programming some computer stuff....moreover, I have west and east window in my proximity and did not see a thing.

I must confess though that I did hear some noises during the 12 o'clock hour that was also reminiscent of another poster. Car doors closing or slamming, and I did check and not a soul.

Hey the nest time you see anything, do a brother a favor, and call me: 703-573-5679

Lights are nice. In my Echo car. Take shit in it. This means feces on the interior. Light help clean Brown spots. Caretaker with hook nice with light. Roids in buttocks not cut by hook. Lights help remove doo doo from balls. These become chocolate covered. This means dip balls in shit. Lights make less problem. This nice.

I was trying to take a picture on my phone but at night its very blurry and just sucks at taking pics. Makes me now want to carry around a camcorder or actual camera in case this happens again. As they say, 'pics or it didn't happen'

Around 630 tonight I was sitting outside in fairfax city when I looked uP and saw a bright object streak across the sky. It went from bright white and faded to green before disappearing in the distance.

I'm fairly certain that this was a meteorite, though its odd other People in the area are reporting these lights behaving very differently.

There was a meteor shower that peaked on the 22-23 of this month, so maybe people are just exaggerating their experience a bit?

Just saw these lights, at 9:00 PM - there were three different pairs of red lights, moving slowly and silently. They appeared to be coming over from Ft. Belvoir towards Fairfax City then heading west. Not like anything else I have seen. Wonder if they are military drones?

Were you talking about that super advanced spaceship I was flying earlier this night? Don't worry, I was just taking my ship back to Mars.

If someone pukes in public, an event that takes a split second to begin, it is on YouTube in fifteen minutes.

If someone claimes to have seen bright lights in the sky, had time to pull over and look long and hard at them, converse with neighbors, etc. no one pulls out their phone for pics or videos.

I saw this bright blue object early Christmas Eve that looked like a comet. It shot across the sky far faster than any plane for two seconds, then just disappeared right by the moon. I have no idea what it was, or where it went. But it moved in an almost deliberately straight. High strangeness indeed.

I have visually witnessed, in the physical, several life forms, intelligent life forms, aboard this great mother ship..."
"Targzissians are obviously reptilian."

and things of this nature.

@bugen4...

My husband and I were out walking our dogs for the last time that evening just before midnight in Burke right off Lake Braddock Drive, when I first noticed the two red-orange orbs at first and then another single red-orange orb to the left of it. They were moving very, very slowly.

When I brought it to my husband's attention, he thought they were planes or helicopters. I thought the same thing as you did, it couldn't be planes because planes and choppers have the taxi lights or wingtip strobes.

I saw planes out at the same time as these UFO's, but the planes were much higher in the air and we heard the noise from the planes. These UFO's had NO NOISES coming from them whatsoever. Total silence!

We watched these orbs for a few minutes until they just simply vanished, never to been seen again. They didn't go anywhere, they just simply vanished right where we saw them last.

We were convinced that what we saw was indeed UFO's.

Thank you for publishing what you saw, it's nice to know someone else out there saw the same thing we saw.

I'm always looking up at the skies during the day and night. I'll be ready to take pictures the next time I see anything. My only regret is that I didn't have my camera ready for picture taking the night I saw these.

:)

Hot air balloons move slowly and together and, if powered by similar heat sources, will extinguish near the same time.

I saw the same exact thing last night (12/28/2011) in St. Louis, MO at about 5:15pm facing southwest. Driving home I glanced up and see a bright blue object falling from a very high altitude, except it wasn't falling because it leveled off and turned swiftly to the right(from my perspective) then disappeared. Moving faster than I've ever seen anything move. No tail, solid blue orb, didn't break up like satellites do and changed direction. Lasted maybe 2 seconds. Very interesting, first time I've ever seen anything like this.

These seem to be Drone Planes. I live in Fairfax City right next to Saint Paul Henry VI - they have been out ALL night, I first noticed them (3, I believe in total) since 6pm this evening. I tried to get them on video camera, but I haven't been able to look over it yet to see how well it picked some of them up. I am assuming that the gov't may be planing something in the realm of a UFO "stagged flag" attack on the USA as Project Bluebook described. President Reagon speaking of an "alien invasion" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iDmaB5BxzA

But of all seriously don't believe what you "see" it will only be another way for the gov't to take more rights and ultimately all of them from you to pull their NWO into the world.

I do believe we are currently being survalienced by these drone airplanes - see this report on Drones just a few days ago in the Washington Post:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/the-growing-us-drone-fleet/2011/12/23/gIQA76faEP_graphic.html
