So who paid for the Greenbriar Santa ride last night?

From 7:00PM to 8:00PM there was a fire truck and a rescue vehicle driving up and down all the streets in Greenbriar, sirens wailing, traffic stopping because they thought it was an actual emergency. WTF. I thought there was a terrorist attack or something. And like I said, who paid for this shit? Is this how our county taxes are spent? WTF

It cost $5 in gas. All the fireman volunteered.

City of Falls Church volunteer FD has been doing it for years. It is a great event. Lloydser, you are a douche that sucks the fun out of the holiday season. Or, you are a Jew or a Muslim.

I thought it was kind of neat - although, if I'm being honest, at first I thought there was some sort of massive fire in the neighborhood. I guess I would have liked a little advanced notice - as it was I barely had time to get my daughter to see Santa wave.

Good point. That is probably why the Falls Church VFD lets you know what neighborhoods Santa will visit each night. Plus, you can track Santa live online.
