Traffic lady mystery

In general, I hate all traffic ladies because they are ugly and never have good news. However, I am somwhat obsessed with Chelsea Mayfield (?) from WJFK. I can't tell why. Her words are all garbled like she has a speech impediment or is from western PA.

The weird thing is that she is no where to be found on the google. So maybe her name is different? The even weirder thing is that I heard her on 101.5 too. But this time her name was Theresa Willshire. Definitely same chick, different radio stations. For some reason I think she might be hot. I like her voice and hate her at the same time. Does anyone have any info on her. Theresa Willshire is not googleable at all either. What's the deal? How is someone on the radio not even have some googleability at all?

I think this is her, she calls in the DC traffic report from California.

Funny you mention her. I was listening last week and was astonished that I couldn't understand at least one word per sentence. She really needs to take some pronunciation classes.

The radio traffic reports are done by one company. The same person will do the daily traffic reports for half a dozen radio stations and will use a different name and accent on each station to match the demographic of the station's listeners.

They don't use code names. My friend was the traffic reporter right before Chelsea and she used her real name. She did it for WTOP and WJFK, used her real name in both instances

Maybe that was the case and maybe her real name is Chelsea Mayfield and she's using her real name for 106.7, but she is definitely the same person as Theresa Willshire on 101.5.
