Saw the MV/WP girls game. MV has a girl that really play, #3 I think. She can pass, shoot, defend, runs like the wind, great handle both left and right.

Saw O'Connel/Dematha last year. Man oh man, what a game! Seriously wcacfan is right, the difference in the level of play between those teams and any public school team was dramatic. First of all, they have really good athletes and 2nd, they were both really, really well coached. O'Connel had this young guard (9th or 10th grade, but I don't recall exactly) but he is going to be amazing! Kind of small for ACC or other big time conferences but what a great player.

And, here's the kicker, there was no woofing or trash talking of any kind during the game. I go to a number of high school games a year, just because it's inexpensive entertainment but it's not uncommon for some dumbass public school kid who couldn't play to run his mouth or get into someone's face over a hard foul.

It was so refreshing and fun to watch 2 teams play their butts off with no BS whatsoever. I'm going to go to a lot more O'Connel games if I can.
