they always did suck they just beat a few crappy teams. they were 1-3 in their last four games going in and have a losing division record. only skins fans think they were playoff caliber

Best thing that ever happened to me was moving out of D.C. to an metropolitan area that did not have TV coverage of the Skins. Well, maybe the second best thing that happened. We don't have much traffic here either.

Just fuckin awful. How can a team suck for so long? fuck the redskins, everything i have with the redskins logo on it is going in the trash! fuck the redskins!!
Why don't we just play a high school football games instead? atleast the players would try to win.

The struggles of the Washington football team will not change until the head coach and his son are gone! Shanahan is past his prime and the offensive line will not change until his son is fired and Shany is not going to fire his son. He is, he thinks, grooming him to be a head coach. Shany was out coached last week by a new head coach and a rookie QB. Today, was not any better!

During the fourth quarter they were down by 20 but moving the ball. For some strange reason they walked up to the line and took a long time to snap the ball. This was with almost nine minutes on the clock and the clock running. There was no sense of urgency on their part, even the announcers commented on it.

They should have had two plays called in the huddle or at least moved more quickly to the line.

This was just unforgiveable and falls right at the feet of the head coach. This is basic football.

The only player worth a damn on this team is Fletcher. If the Skins have any decency, they will release him to a team that has a shot at the Super Bowl and that team will give him a small contract so he can get a ring. That guy is a warrior. The rest of the team isnt worth a shit

Does it? Synder eliminated end zone seating to create "fan (well, really 'beer') zones" so the seats wouldn't count against the NFL 'sellout' standard.

Before leaving DC I had season tickets for 10 years and I never, ever saw the stadium at a level I would consider "sold out" - there were always empty seats and scalpers (hmmm, is that an insensitive term in this context?) with handfuls of tickets, minutes before game time.

I beleive Synder and other NFL owners get away with quite a bit on the sellout rule.

A few years back there were 86,000 waiting list for tickets. Not anymore. The redskins are run just like the government. Wasting OPM. Snyder tries to buy a ring with old high priced players/coach. If this was a real business that was dependent on putting out a solid product he would be out on his ass. But seeing how he has a hundred thousand passionate fans willing to line his pockets with their money he remains owner of a once proud franchise. Make no mistake he is in it for the money!! Cooke was a fan owner. Parking fees, game tickets if Snyder can make a buck off you he will. Don't let him know you named your kid Sonny, or Art or even Riggo, he will try to get copyright fees from you and they were all before his time.

I don't think there was much of a bandwagon. Those who say Skins fans thought the team was going to the playoffs don't know very many Skins fans.
