so, i spent a night in the drunk tank of fairfax city for being drunk in public. i remember getting my picture taken but don't remember getting my prints done. is that possible?

It is not only possible that you do not remember getting your prints taken, it seems to be true as well.

Not sure about Fairfax city, but I'm fairly sure the county does not print for DIP, which is a misdemeanor, not sure about DUI though. They may only print you for crimes that could result in jail time in the county

They print you for DUI. They print you whenever you get arrested really which you certainly do for a DUI. If they took his picture and booked him they almost certainly printed him too

People sure do love bragging about their drunken escapades.
But I find it more interesting that he's concerned about being printed. Perhaps when he looks into his future, he sees a career criminal?

You have no clue if you were finger printed? We you that drunk? Do you know if the person from the next cell or sharing the cell with you took something else from you or gave you something. No reason to get that druck. Make this be a lesson.

actually, no I wasn't that drunk when I got to the station. it was my first and only trip to jail. my not being able to remember the printing was a. this happened almost 4 years ago b. i had been drinking c. there was a lot going in the ffx city jail that night.

I got fingerprinted when I got my security clearance. I have no idea how or if they would be able to check that against fingerprints found at any crime scene nationwide.

If Disney uses a fingerprint scanner to get you into the parks then I would bet that the police would be taking your prints whenever they get the chance. No telling what unsolved crimes might be linked to those prints.
