What's going on at Fair Oaks Mall?

I was there today around 4:00 and security guards were everywhere. They were staked out every 4-5 stores. I overheard a woman talking about suspicous person and wanting to contact the police (this was before I noticed all the security). Weird vibe in there today. Anyone else there today? Anyone here in the know? What was going on?

Well...

We do have a lot of muslimes in our area...

In fact, Northern Virginia has the 2nd highest concentration of muslimes in the United States besides Dearborn, Michigan I think...

And what do you know, we're also a hotbed of terrorism:

I think the amount of bored white people in this area is a far bigger threat than Muslims

I heard it was some guy munching on a powdered donut while he was walking and they went after him to make sure it wasn't cocaine or anthrax or something. Oddly there was no followup on what happened with the evidence.

I worked there a while ago and when I was there I know we had the state department or FBI use the mall to run scenarios for training purposes. If you saw a bunch of folks in suits then that's probably what that was.

On a side note, some of you people are horrible, plain and simple.
