There are 2 within driving distance, down in the Tidewater area, the Pamunkey and Mattaponi reservations.

it's American Indian, not Native Americans you insensitive jackass! be sure that you dont confuse them with Indian Americans and remember, if a American Indian and Indian American have a child, it's an American American Indian Indian American or maybe American Indian American American Indian... im just not sure which.

but to tell the truth, they never were Americans. so, the correct name would be Pre-America Natives. however, i think history has shown they would be best known as Bitter Doormats.

oh... and they wont let you onto their reservation. so much for that "you cant own land" bullshit.

Gravis,
As one who is 1/4 Cherokee, I prefer American Indian. I despise the politically
correct version and so did my grandmother. (it reeks of Neo-Marxist liberalism)
If you think you own your own land, try not paying the taxes on it.
Please excuse me, but its time to put on some warpaint. I hear developers
are after the reservations.
