No one can enter/leave. Cops scanning whole area with caution.

There's been a police helicopter circling the area for the last 30 minutes as well.

I just heard on the scanner that they're still sweeping the court public parking garage and the US Post office parking garage right now.

Didn't catch what the hell is going on.

it sounded like 2 white suspects wearing wife beaters...possibly armed. Perhaps it was a car jacking or something. whatever it was, the bird was overhead for quite some time. they had some sort of apb for a white old car or something....

Humm.... yeah the Courthouse parking garage sounds like a good place for a car-jacking.

And let me guess, they got away again. The helicopter and K-9 units in Fairfax county are useless.

I was 10-7 12-8 and 10-67 --- so, of course I had no time to catch them....if I were 10-2 and 10-63 I would have got-em'....

After ten minutes the usual response is:

"Fairfax One: We flown around the area and didn't see anything suspicious, returning to base."

"All units can break down the perimeter and go back in service, see everybody at 7-Eleven in 5 minutes."

10640 Page Avenue / Office Building – On August 8 at 3:39 PM an occupant of the office building reported that one of two men engaged in an argument outside the building had brandished a handgun and had entered the office building. The suspect with the gun apparently fled the scene, possibly in a vehicle, as officers were arriving and the second man had previously departed. City of Fairfax Police, assisted by Fairfax County Police officers, the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office and a Fairfax County Police helicopter, conducted an intensive search of the office building, the courthouse complex parking garages, the Post Office parking garage and the City Cemetery area. Neither the suspect nor a weapon was located. The suspect was described as a white male.
